‘Zombie Army 4: Dead War’ Gets a Fantastic New Trailer

  • Pick it up on February 4th.
  • PC version exclusive to Epic.
  • No word right now if Nintendo Switch owners will get it.

When it comes to World War II zombie games, there is none bigger than Call of Duty. There is, however, one that is just as fun, if not more so in some ways. Nazi Zombie Army started off as a spin-off of developer Rebellion’s Sniper Elite series, beginning as an expansion for Sniper Elite V2. I didn’t get to play it until they came as part of the Zombie Army Trilogy on PlayStation 4, and I absolutely fell in love with it. You know me, zombies and fighting games are my passion, and I’m waiting for the two to be combined. Developer Rebellion has released a new trailer for the unexpected fourth entry, and it’s fantastic.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War will have players once again battling against Hitler’s horde of undead. Experience abominable occult enemies, tons of epic weapons, and a new campaign that will allow for up to four players to travel across 1940s Europe. This is a terrific series that’s a ton of fun, and I seriously recommend looking into it if your looking for a new co-op friendly title. Some features of Zombie Army 4: Dead War are as follows:

  • Shocking New Campaign – The resistance have defeated Zombie Hitler and cast him into Hell – but the dead rise once again with greater hunger than before!
  • Award-Winning Gunplay – Experience the genre-defining ballistics Rebellion made famous in the Sniper Elite series, and put it to good use against the shambling hordes of the damned!
  • Deep Progression and Customization – Build the slayer that suits you as you rank up!
  • Epic Weaponry – Harness the power of fire, lightning, and divine essence to upgrade your guns at workbenches, and create homespun hell raisers!
  • Bigger, Badder Horde Mode – Extend your SLAYcation in the expanded Horde Mode.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War is set to release on the 4th of February on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via The Epic Games Store. There is a collector’s edition that seems to be exclusive through GameStop, and there is an $79.99 Zombie Army 4 Super Deluxe Edition that includes the Season Pass. If you’ve never played the original trilogy, it is coming to Nintendo Switch if you’d like to play on the go, and it’s been available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
